Can the Time Code be Turned off in FCP
is it possible to turn of the TC during capture? i’ve done it in Avid o.k. but what about FCP?
I understand it will make recapturing impossible but thats no problem in this case. all i need to do is capture and dump the contents of an entire tape into FCP and once thats done i plan to edit it all in the TL hopefully creating a new time code……..I’m desperate to work around a lot of media with a lot of TBs

Set device control in Log & Capture>>Capture Settings to non-controllable device.
