    Can the Panasonic 1200A record DVCPro 50?

    I’m working with the Panasonic 1200A deck, and I’m pretty sure it can’t record DVCPro 50- just DVCPro HD (100)…but I want to be sure. I’ve been through the manual and menu settings, but just in case wanted to inquire here whether it can or not.

    Joni, while the 1200A can downcovert DVPRO100 to DVPRO50, DVPRO25 or composit NTSC it cannot record in anything but DVPRO100.
