    In the new drivers, BMD says you can cross-convert from 720P to 1080i. Can someone try taking 720P 23.98 DVCPRO HD and cross converting to 1080P 23.98? Arguably, this should be somewhat easier in some ways and would be a nice workflow.

    That would be useful. Just because it’s not officially mentioned doesn’t mean it won’t work (it just might not have been tried).

    Thanks. Knowing the answer would make my buy choice easy.

    Hi TK,

    We support 720p to 1080i cross conversion. While 23.98 is not one of the frame rates we officially support, we did find that 720p/23.98 to 1080i/59.94 worked fine when we tested it yesterday. We don’t have an easy setup for 1080p/23.98.
