can see video in monitor after edit can only hear it
Hey there guys.. new to the forum and new to Adobe. Have been using other remedial programs and I have outgrown them… so now I’m playing with the big boys.
I have been able to import .avi files downloaded onto my computer from an Insignia Flip camera just fine into Adobe Premiere 6 LE. I am able to edit it fine into the timeline. I render and then when I go to play it back in the monitor screen I only HEAR the video and to not see it. So I tried to add some stills over the interview I edited … and in the parts where I have the stills – the pictures come up but then when the stills end the audio of the interview continues and no video picture. Any ideas. Also it seems as if when I import still pictures.. they keep their aspect ratio … but when I enter them into the time line they “stretch”. Thoughts on that? Thanks so much… I hope my remedial questions are not significantly redundant for you.

Adobe Premiere 6 LE is a very old product. You may have a long wait until someone else, who still uses it, stumbles across your post.
