New to Premier, have downloaded trial and need to figure out if it is worth the investment. Some questions may seem trivial but they are all important to us.

*Does Premier Pro render to subpixels? (I have it setup to best quality. But simple crawls, rolls and DVE moves dont seem to render sub-pixel.)

*Can you choose a specific frame to be an icon of your footage in the bin instead of the inpoint? (useful for example when inpoint of the clip is say the start of the text roll and the text is out of the screen).

*Can you customise the colours of the interface?

*Can you see an INTERACTIVE waveform and vectorscope and the resulting clip at the SAME TIME when colour correcting? (At the moment i can only seem to get either scopes or clip. The source window is will not show the result.)

    Yes

You can customize the colors of the video/audio clips and you increase or decrease the brightness of the interface [Denzel]

Yes. You need to create a new reference monitor and NOT A SOURCE MONITOR and select the option to ‘Gang it with the Program Monitor’
