Can Multi-clip cause problems with re-linking media
I’m running a project on FCP7.
I have a full mirror copy on another drive, the copies are exact but the project won’t relink. This has only happened since I have used the multi-clip function to cut some material.
Has anyone experienced this problem?Don’t Cry Yet

There used to be a bug involving relinking multiclips, but I thought that was resolved in version 7. I’m in 7.0.3 and I relink multiclips all the time..
one suggestion i have is to make sure the entire file-paths are exactly the same (including the drive name) then it shouldn’t need to be relinked at all. in theory.
also, try collapsing your multiclips, then relinking. It’s not a solution per se, but if it works, then you know the problem is your multiclips.
