  • Can I use only 1 audio track on multiclip

This should be a no brainer, but I cant figure it out… I am editing a feature on FCP. They shot a lot of A and B camera simo stuff. But they were only feeding the audio into the A camera.

I made a multiclip, but I ALWAYS want the audio to be coming from the sound on the A camera and not the silent audio tracks that are attached to the B Cam side.

Can I set the multiclip up so it has 2 VIDEO tracks but only 1 audio? Or besides having to manually patch the tracks everytime, is there a way I can force the audio to always come from the A Camera even if I am using the B camera pix?

    Thanks

    Dave

with your multiclip in the viewer, click on the middle “pill” button.

Choose video only. This should do what you want.
