Can I use FCP to burn .m2v video and .ac3 audio to set-top playable DVD?
A client has given me two separate A/V files: one is .m2v video and the other .ac3 audio.
Can I use FCP to combine the files into an MPEG2 file – then use iDVD to burn? I don’t have DVD Studio. I do have FCP 5 and 6.
What alternatives are there in OSX?

AC3 and iDVD don’t work together
but you cant have FC6 without DVDSP.. they come in the same box and run on the same serial #

You can try using ffmpegX, it is a free tool to make the Video_TS Folder.

Hey Chris,
Do you have Toast 8?
It lets you make a DVD from those files.
When you select the .m2v file it asks you for the .ac3 file.
