can i update serial number on existing FCP installation?
Hi
i have had FCP 51.4 running on a mAc pro and a MacBook pro, (per licensing agreement) but now i want to run them concurrently, do i have to reinstall on either machine once i get my new seria number? ie install and use new serial? or is there a way to update the registration/serial number so i dont have to re install all the apps?

Go to Library/Application Support/Pro Apps and delete the FCP System ID. You’ll have to put in a new one when you launch the application.

Go to Library/Application Support/Pro Apps/ and rename or delete the Final Cut System ID file. Next time you open FCP, it will ask you for a new serial number.
