Sonnett Fusion DX800 Raid is not powering up. I’m going to have the enclosure replaced. Can I use the exsisting drives and keep all of the data as is

if it’s another Sonnet DX800 using the same RAID card.
I believe these were made by JMR a long time ago.

Looking for the least expensive 8 bay array on Amazon is not going to help you.

    Hi Doug,

what do you mean with not powering up?
Perhaps your power supply unit is bust,
and you have to swap just the power supply. You can get it from Sonnet directly.

    cheers

Yes, I’m hoping that’s what it is. It’s under warranty and I’ve sent it back to them for repair. I kept the drives though. I’m questioning now if they simply send me a replacement if my data will remain in tact.

if they simply send you a replacement, then YES, your data will remain intact.
