  • Can I select a part of my project and save it as a favorite?

This seems elementary, but I just want to select a part of my project, and save it in an event like I would a favorite (or subclip in 7). It’s really about accessing parts of a project easily, and naming them. For example, a concert that is synced to separate audio, multiple camera angles etc, and you want to go to (or export) 1 song. Markers are cool but you have to click on them to see what they say.
Feels weird to say “in 7 I could…” this many years later, but I’ve never figured this out in X.
Thanks you in advance and excuse the seemingly simple question.

Turn the project into a compound clip. Favourite whatever part of it you need. When you add the favourite to a timeline you can either leave it asa. compound or expand it back into he individual clips for editing.
