    Can i save animated 4 x solid/text layers into single effects preset?

    Hi,

    I have a lower third consisting of 2 x custom color blocks (cropped) and 2 x text layers,
    all animated using slide transitions to slide onto screen, and fade out transitions at the end,
    is it possible to save this whole set as a single pre-set effect?
    Or do i have to rebuild in Motion and save into FCPX that way?

    You need Motion to build this effect and save it as a lower third title in your title browser. It’s worth having Motion if you like to make custom gfx like this for your projects.

    Thanks -was hoping I could do this within FCPX but no worries, I’ll build and export from Motion
