    Hi, i have got camcorder footage of my wedding last year. Parts of the recording ie the service and speeches have unwanted audio which i would like to remove if possible.Can anyone advise if this is possible and if so what software can i use.My camcorder is panasonic hdcsd1 and has 5.1 surround sound. Records in avchd and is a hd camcorder. Mainly i would like to remove child crying during service and during speeches childrens background noise.

    It may be possible to do what you wish, but it is very complex and time consuming. Google Cedar Tools Retouch.

    I think Izotope’s new RX software works pretty well for this sort of thing – the baby, bizzarely, would probably be easier to remove than the general hubub….
