    Can I?

I have some archival footage that is captioned but I want to use it in another show. The rest of the show is not captioned, and when the captions pop up that obviously have nothing to do with the new VO. I am using FCP HD, and I have quicktime pro, cleaner 6.5, and AE, but I can’t seem to find that option in any of these programs. Anyone know a little shareware program or some sort of video tool I can use to do this?

Crop the the flashing white dots off top of the clips. That’s the Closed Captioning signal.
