    Can I open an Avid 8.4.4 project in Avid 8.4.0?

    I have a client with a project saved in Avid MC 8.4.4 and I need to work on it but my latest version is 8.4.0 and I can not upgrade. Is it possible?

    Avid is usually more agreeable about compatibility than other NLEs. Even if the project gives you issues (unlikely), you can make a new project and drag/copy all the bins into it at the desktop level and you should be fine.
