    Can I mix DVCProHD with HDV on same timeline?

    Hi All

    I have a client who shot his programme both on DVCpro HD and HDV.

    The programme will be edited on FCP v 5.0.2.

    I am thinking about capturing the footage using Blackmagic DVCpro HD. Could I mix DVCpro HD footage with HDV footage on the same timeline.?

    As long as you capture the HDV footage as DVCPRO HD, and match the settings of the DVCPRO HD footage you already have.
