Can I Make The Camera Cry?
Posted by Lester Millado on May 13, 2010 at 1:26 pmHello all,
I need some help. I’m doing a little POV short, in which the character (which is portrayed by the POV perspective) begins to cry. In other words, I need the screen to get “teary eyed”. Help? Thank you in advance.

May 13, 2010 at 5:54 pmDave’s got some good suggestions.
In part two of the weather replacement tutorial, Aharon Rabinowitz covers how to get droplets of water on the camera. I haven’t looked at it, but I suspect it’s close to what Dave said. Here’s part one and part three, in case anyone wants to see the whole thing.

3D City he does a “drops on the lens” trick. Don’t know if it’s the same as Aharon’s method. You can see them clearly in the splash page: (no pun intended)
