  • Can I make a DVD using ipod movies as source media?

I was recently asked to make a DVD compilation of several videos, however the person handing over the media only has .M4V files and FLV files to make the DVD from. I know DVD Studio Pro works with MPEG files, but is .M4V technically an MPEG file? Is this possible to do? Or will the resolution be really bad?

In the end, the DVD will project onto a large screen at a party.
How can I go about this and achieve the highest resolution possible?

    Thanks!

The resolution won’t be that good – but its all relative on who’s watching it. Your compressing your video twice. Compressor should do this for you but there are several other conversion tools available as well
