  Can I force a certain button to be highlighted in menus?

  I’m looking for a way to force a particular button to automatically appear as highlighted right away when the menu comes onto the screen. I must be missing something because I can’t seem to figure this out.

  I’m running CS5 on a Mac Pro, running 10.6.8.
