Can I Export while conforming in Premiere Pro CC 2015
Posted by Moe Ashkar on October 31, 2015 at 9:45 pmIm new to Premiere, switched over from FCPX, I was wondering am I able to export a project to media encoder while PP is still encoding?
Thanks…Moe Ashkar replied 10 years, 6 months ago 3 Members · 3 Replies -

November 1, 2015 at 6:34 pmI personally wait for it to be done before export. Most of the conforming you see has to do with the audio which is optimized for playback.
Since audio is rendered again at export time, I don’t think it matters that much, but if any media is marked as pending, that’s a different story.

November 2, 2015 at 5:30 pmDanger Will Robinson… Danger.. Danger.
You want to be very careful not to do anything else while a file is Conforming in the Media Browser. This is especially true with formats like Sony FS700 which limits files sizes to 4GB before spanning to another clip.
You run the risk of ending up with glitches, corrupted files and the like. You could import more than one file into the Media Browser and let them conform…Good luck.
