Can I disguise room noise and echo?
Hi there:
I’ve looked at the other room noise/echo posts and I think there might be another solution for me.
I have a clip shot in front of a greenscreen in a living room. As you might expect, there is that deep echo of a small wooden room.
The final shot will be the actor standing outdoors in front of a raging forest fire.
I’ve brought the clip into Soundbooth (which I don’t know how to use yet) and put silence between the sentences but there are still two sentences which are long enough for the reverb of the room to come through.
I have the advantage of being able to cover it with rumbling noises, I hope.
Can anyone suggest any tricks to do this?
I will reinstall Audition tonight from CS2 and give it a whack.
I’ll be trying deep base fire rumble, maybe put a drone on top of it.
Will it help to boost the high end?
Any tips to save me some time and get a better result would be appreciated!
Thanks
