Can I change the length of a still photo?
My preferences are set for 5 second for still image length. If I want to change a still image to, say, 2 seconds, the only way I know how to do that is to manually drag the image length -3 seconds to create a still image that is 2 seconds long.
Can I select the still image and manually type in the length without having to drag/pull the length using the mouse?

There is no single click to change the event length that I have ever seen, and I don’t see it in Vegasaur or Timeline tools, either.
What’s wrong with just changing the preferences or dragging the end of the event?
If you have a lot of images and want to reduce some of them to 3-seconds, for example, then make a region for your target length. Drag your region to the start of the event you want to shrink, then drag the end of the event to the region. Snap is your friend. Move the region to the next event that you want to be the same length.Steve Mann

You can use a plug-in like VASST Event Tool ($9.95 USD) to change the length of one or multiple events by typing in the new length and pressing a button. I don’t believe there is any way to do this natively in Vegas Pro.
