  • Can I change “step back/forward many” settings ?

I like Avid’s 1234 use for stepping through frames. 1 steps back 8 frames, 2 steps forward 8 frames.

I like the 8 frames thing cause I know its a 1/3 of a second which I’m used to dealing with

Premiere uses 5 frames to step, is there anyway to modify this to 8? I don’t like the 5 frame step

    thanks in advance!

(I WAS able to modify the trim many to 8, but not the step back/forward to 8)

    Hi Bryan,

In the NEXT Premiere Pro CC release users can specify a number of frames for the step forward/back.

Here’s the blog post pointing out the other features that will be included.

EDIT: Whoops, I found it! Odd that it’s in the playback tab….

Was this ever included? I can’t seem to find it, or any mention of it in the documentation….
