May 25, 2011 at 12:56 amSURE, all is there under the Media Generators tab.
Just drag what you want from the many selections to where
you want it on the timeline.Steve Rhoden

May 26, 2011 at 4:55 amI am not following you when you say that it “deletes” part of your “clip”…
Make a new video track above your video track and put the generated media there.
also, just a nit – everything on the timeline is an event – not a clip. The only place in the manual or help files where you will find “clip” is in the trimmer.Steve Mann

May 30, 2011 at 10:01 pmHi;
here is a link to a GREAT tutorial on one of the coolest possible titles that can be created with just Vegas. I’ve used Geralds tip over and over, the shiny, metallic effect is compelling. If the link does not come through in this post (for some reason my Creative Cow account disappeared and now I am back in “moderated newbie” status) just goto youtube , user videotragic.

It’s not the easiest of projects, but once you get it working you can save it as a template of sorts and use it over and over. I like to use them for the titles of the school orchestra vids I post, and change the colors to match the school’s colors.

Good luck,
