Can FCP import an Adobe Premier project

I know you can export a FCP project as an xml file and open it in Premier but can you go in the other direction. Save a Premier project as an xml file and open it in FCP? Or maybe there is another method someone knows about.

You might ask this question in the Premiere forum…

But I’m sure it will export an EDL, which can be imported in FCP.

Better yet if XML isn’t an option, (which it probably is), would be Automatic Duck (google it). That likely would be the best in any event.

With Premiere Pro CS5, you can import and EXPORT FCP XML as well as Avid AAF.
