  Can DVDA write split layers to DLT?

  I’m trying to write two layers of a DVD-9 project to two DLT tapes to send to a replicator. DVDA3 stalls for over 2 hours on the final dialogue box “MASTERING LAYER 1”, where the lower progress bar reads “Checking for content on tape”.

  I’ve tried 5 different DLT tapes with the same results.

  I know DVDA has issues with burning DL DVDs, I use Sonic RecordNow for that, and I suspect DVDA may have a similar problem writing to DLT. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

  Does anyone know of a software that will write each layer of DVDA prepared master files to a separate DLT tape? Thanks
