Haven’t needed to worry about this for a while and now am trying to dig deeper into DVDA to make a nicer menu system. I see that there is now a transition function (dragging the media up to the root folder, setting appropriate end action). Here’s what I can’t figure out: My main menu is a 1 minute looping video background with two buttons, Play All and Scene Select. Clicking the scene select button will go to the transition which leads to the submenu, but clicking the button causes a drastic jump (particularly the audio track) for the main menu to the transition. Will DVDA allow me to fade the video/audio on the main menu when the button is clicked and smoothly move into the transition piece? If the main menu were a static graphic without sound I could workaround by building the fade into the transition media, but since I’m using a 1 minute loop there is no way to predetermine when the viewer will click, so a prebuilt fade on the transition media will not work.

If this is not possible, does anyone know if Encore has this function? I’ve never used Encore but would be worth learning if the functionality is there.

    thx
