Can clips selection be based off of track selection?
Assume I have ten tracks and each track has fifty individual clips on the track. Now I want to just select 4 clips on track 5. I zoom in and hand select each clip. A quicker way, if possible, is to just lasso the tracks, but in doing so I select ALL clip on ALL track within the lasso range. Now AVID had a nice baked in feature where your lasso selection was based off your track selection. So I could target track 5, lasso the whole thing and ONLY the clips on five would be selected.
Now I found a work around just lock the tracks that I do not want selected however I was wondering if there was a button somewhere in the preferences that made clip selection dependent on track selection.
