Can anyone identify this error? How do I fix it?
Hi!
I’m trying to render a large project on my computer, but everytime it starts the render, Sony Vegas closes with a message saying it has encountered a problem.My computer is running Vista.
RAM: 6.00 GB
Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300 @2.60GHz 2.60 GHzI’m using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Edition. It was purchased as an upgrade from the hard copy I purchased of an older version (6.0 I believe).

In Module ‘mcstdh264dec.dll’ at Address 0x54AC0000 + 0xC74EC
See if the file ‘mcstdh264dec.dll’ is in the Sony Movie Studio folders. If it is, contact Sony tech support because only their developers will know what that error dump means.
If the file is not in the Sony folder, then perhaps it’s part of some other software that is conflicting with Movie Studio. Did you install any codec paks? These could cause problems when rendering.
