Can anyone help me out with 3D Layer from conoa ?

I got the demo for this plugin and was shocked to find after some intensive googling there really are no tutorials out there for it.I want to make some terrain for the camera to fly over and was wondering if anyone knows a tutorial or could list the very basic steps for creating/implementing a heightmap like they did in this demo video here.
