  Can anyone explain how this is done?

  It reminds me of quantizing music, but I can’t figure out how to get video to behave like this.
  Maybe a bit more info would help, the video seems to track the beat, it’s almost as if you could map the video segments to a midi keyboard and trigger it, I doubt that’s what’s being done.
  Any tutorial or even what this is called would help.
