Can After Effects track a video that pans more than 180 degrees?
I have a video where I want to put a text on a wall but the video is panning from left to right and the track point will appear and then disappear from view after panning.

    Can After Effects do this?

    Hi Johnedel

—– this should be an easy one

    — the way to do this is to re-position the tracking reference to another point as the one you are using goes out of frame.

    — not done this in AE myself but I know this can be done because I have seen it in one of Andrew Kramers tutorials on Video Copilot.

    — sorry I cant give you the exact details but I can advise you that it is possible.
