Camtasia Screen Cap won’t work in AE or FCP
Hi guys, I’w working on a greenscreen presentation that has elements of screen capture from Camtasia Studio Pro. My project is nearly complete and I have captured the things I need with Camtasia Studio Pro.
Now when I play back the avi. files I get from camtasia it runs perfectly with great quality, but when I insert it to my premier project it’s so blurry and just plain out of focus that it can’t be used. I have tried everything up to this point, from capturing in different codecs to capturing uncompressed. I have tried importing into after effects and exporting it out as quicktime animation without any results.
Why can’t I just capture my screen and use it like a regular avi. video file in my premier or FCP projects?
Do you guys have any sollutions to my problems?

The problem is likely a resolution and mis match between your Premiere Project and the camtasia.
What is the video resolution of your Premiere Project (video format)?
What was the screen capture size of your Camtasia?
