  • Camera zoom changing when parented to null?

I always use nulls when doing camera animation, but just had some unexpected results.

My camera and null are in the same 3d space, but when I parent the camera to the null, my focal length changes. I can see this happen visually (top and side perspectives of my scene), but the actual data on my focus distance stays the same.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Is the null scaled at all?

Ahh, that was it… didn’t see I had scaled just the z scale on the null. Thanks!
