Camera Tracker Failing
I’m teaching a VFX class and my students all have the same computers (Macbook 2019s) with the newest After Effects installed. 2 of the 16 students could not camera track some footage I had provided. The tracker basically create a couple track points that don’t move but remain stationary on the screen. I tried chopping the clip up into small parts but it still fails on tiny clips. I tried transcoding the footage to something else but it still failed. A weird thing with just these two students is that I initially provided a collect After Effects project with the assets pre-loaded, but when they opened it, every single asset had an issue (MOVs, PNGs, etc.). No one else had this issue and there’s nothing wrong with the files. They were able to manually import them into a blank After Effects project.
We restarted computers. Cleared cache.
Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure this will help but try a different user account.
Is there an admin account on the computers?
Want to rule out some perm/security issues.
