Without my little DV cam I usually use to get signal to NTSC monitor.
Am using DVX for the next couple of weeks. But video sends NTSC monitor to blue now and then. Any thoughts? Promimity of camera to monitor a factor?
    Thanks

    New cables, same problem.
    Needed longer ones any way.
    So no loss.
    But problem remains.
NTSC picuture comes and goes,—project and blue,—project and blue.
NTSC monitor is newer Toshiba 14 inch.
Never had this problem with little Sony Handicam, but it’s on vacation in Italy.
Open to thought,—checked DVX setting,—everything seems to be in order.

Sounds like the computer is periodically losing the firewire connection. I’ve seen this before with one camera but not another one just like it.

I’ll wait for the return of my trusty handicam.
