  • Camera shake as adjustment layer preset?

I’ve been searching endlessly for a camera shake preset similar to Jarle’s Deadpool presets here, but with the ability to put the motion on an adjustment layer using the transform effect, rather than applying it to a clip as position keyframes.

I edit animatics, so it’d be extremely useful to have cam shake on an adjustment layer. I’m aware that I could nest the panels I want to add shake to, then apply the effect to the nest, but then I have to drill into the nest every time I want to change panel timing and it gets very tedious.

    TL;DR: I’m looking for either:

    • a way to transfer the position/scale/rotation data from Jarle’s presets to the transform effect
    • a different set of cam shake presets that work with adjustment layers

If anyone has info on this, it would be much appreciated!

I know this is years later, but I’ve found this extension useful for doing this if anyone hasn’t found something by now. You can use it to convert the keyframe values of a tracked mask into transform values. I’ve ended up creating those “camera shake” adjustment layers by tracking a mask over a handheld video in Premiere and applying those as transform values to an adjustment layer. Still have yet to find like a pack of these or something tho
