Camera shake
Posted by Jamie Young on July 15, 2009 at 3:11 pmI only use PI for my effects. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to simulate a camera shake.

July 16, 2009 at 2:19 pmYou can use “record position” to manually move around an emitter, then export that position data to the clipboard. Then you can select the “Layer Offset” and import the position data from the clipboard and the layer will now have this “shaking” motion.
BUT… any background images won’t be affected by this. So if you want to shake your footage and your effects, you’ll need to use another application most likely.

August 12, 2009 at 9:13 pmThe web site says it’s included in the demo version of Mercalli, but also notes this demo version puts a red cross on output – does anyone know whether the red cross appears in the Video Shaker output?
