Camera Recommendation around @K
I’m looking to buy a prosumer camera that costs less than $2.5K, is an ENG style camera, is good in low lighting situations. I’ll use it for talking heads and some action outside, like fire dept responses, water rescues, etc. Something that can take a beating. Thanks in advance!

Hey Rob,
Sorry, but you are not going to get much ENG camera for $ 2,500.
Question is whether you want to go HD, 2K or 4K?You could look at a HDSLR camera, or BlackMagic, but they all have in common that the “extras” like lenses, microphones, media-cards etc, can easily cost more than the camera housing itself.
I would instead encourage you to look at rental companies turning over stock.
There might be a secondhand 4K “ENG kit” hanging around, with a 3 month warranty.
Just a thought.
