Camera Raw Still Image Import
hello,
we shot a music video using the hvx200 w/P2 cards. 720p 24p. started my avid project and imported all video files perfectly. but cannot import still images shot in “camera raw” format. any ideas of what i have to do?
one more thing, all video files are showing, but when i select “show offline material” all clips become highlighted in their bin. mystery to me as the files play fine.

Avid won’t import RAW images (does any NLE?). Convert them to targa, jped, photoshop, or png. My favorite is png–small file size, beautiful quality, great alpha support.
Also, make sure the files are RGB–Avid won’t accept CMYK.

Do you have a P2 card in the computer, or is the computer seeing a ‘virtual P2 drive’ along with the hard drive where your images are? If so, this can confuse the Avid.
