Has anyone else noticed the discrepancies when importing Canon RAW (.CR2) files into photoshop?

For example, if I shoot images in daylight on the “daylight” wb preset on camera which equates to 5200K when I was selecting the “as shot” option in the white balance drop down it would give me a setting of 4850K

In addition none of the presets in this interface seem to be accurate or in sync with settings from the camera files.

Consequently, before realising these issues, I have batched a few jobs with what I believed to be accurate settings, taking hours at a time, only to result in terrible colours.

I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on this.
