Camera lens blur.
Hi there, I am trying to get some nice hexagonal lens blur effects on my particles for which I am using the camera lens blur effect on a Particular layer within AE but for some reason all i’m getting are blurred circular particles.
I have the Iris property within the effect set to hexagon but it makes now difference, in fact irrelevant of the iris property shape selected its just coming out circular.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Trapcode particular has to render it’s particles own blur. And I’m not sure it has any other iris than the rounded default.
