Would anybody recommend or NOT recommend purchasing insurance for the HVX from some online company? Any specific websites that might be recommended?…..or recommended to stay away from?
I’m not sure if this is a good idea or not……so any input would be most appreciated.
I’m not looking for a huge package deal….just around a $6000 policy to cover my camera in case of damage.
    Thanks in advance.

If you own your own small company and work out of your home it’s only about $100-$200 per year to add a rider to your homeowners policy. I think that may be better that buying a specific policy for just the camera since it covers all your gear if it’s under $50,000. Talk to your insurance agent about what the company offers. You may have to bump up the cost a little to get it to cover the camera while you are out shooting but that should be covered under a production insurance policy.
