Camera help, please?
Mooooooo!
Hi all, I need some help clearing up a question I have for doing transition between comps. I have seen this technique many times and want to try to make sense of it. The transition isn’t really an effect, I dont think? Its more like just doing a camera move that creates the illusion of a transition. I have see many designers use this like moving across a collogues. Each part has an animation and the camera pans quickly to make sure its viewing the animation before moving to the next, then the next, and so on..
So my question is basically setting up the comps. If it is a collogue, my final output is NTSC DV 720 x 480, and do I make my comp huge and design the comp with each part where I want my camera to hold on? or do a make separate comps that are bigger then move them into place with their position slider to view into a new master comp that holds each individual comp so the master comp isnt using a camera for move but the master has the individual comps themselves moving? Hope that makes sense?
Thanks if anyone can help and if they have links to any resources.
Here is an example. https://www.psalmplasma.com/coke30.mpg
If you break this up into section (girl, boy, girl, boy, final 3D render of coke bottle) each part is shown when the camera either pans up or down or rotates in. Mainly the transition after the mustang going into the next comp. This one I had bookmarked, but any kinda camera move that follows a design is what I am aiming for.
Thanks again
