    Hi,

We have finally released this long-awaited plugin!

Camera GripTools is a desktop motion capture system as plug-in for MAXON CINEMA 4D.

It simulates a camera grip system approximating the possibilities of the real world solutions.
It virtualizes the classic mounting systems from handheld and tripod to crane.
Gadgets like an airplane and car mode are in the box too.

Camera GripTools has grown up, enabling you to capture all kinds of motion not only for cameras but all kinds of objects in a natural and very intuitive way

You can control CINEMA 4D with hardware ranging from USB-Joysticks, MIDI faders, Wiimote, to 6 D.O.F. tracking devices.
Camera GripTools adds also 3 valuable XPresso nodes to take full control of CINEMA 4D.

Read more on our website, there’s also a Demo version available for download:

Update: We need betatesters for Mac!

Until now, the Camera GripTools plugin for CINEMA 4D was only compatible with Windows. However, seeing a high demand for our plugin from Mac users, we’re developing a new version of our plugin for Mac OS X.

Development is now entering testing phase. We need to test the plugin on various Mac computers, various OS X versions and a wide range of game controllers. We will carefully select a group of potential testers with advanced expertise.

In other words: we need you!
Are you a Mac user? Are you interested in testing the Camera GripTools plugin for Cinema 4D, and willing to give some feedback? Then click here and choose ‘Participate in GripTools for Mac beta testing’.

    Update:

Camera GripTools – MIDI – now for Windows & Mac.

Camera GripTools MIDI enables you to use a wealth of MIDI hardware with Maxon CINEMA 4D. Applying the “Camera GripTools concept”, this plugin offers all functionality and control modes as the other versions of GripTools.

Using MIDI hardware in CINEMA 4D opens a whole new world of possibilities… You can capture animations in realtime, using MIDI devices having faders, rotary encoders, buttons and more. You can choose from a wide range of MIDI hardware manufacturers, like JLCooper, Behringer, M-Audio, etc. etc.

Camera GripTools MIDI is the only plugin supporting MIDI hardware for CINEMA 4D on your Mac!
