camera future?……
I’m looking to replace a Canon XL-1 that recently died, and this is the camera everyone tells me to get. Anyone have current info on what the immediate future holds for any type of re-design?……I know it’s been great for awhile; just want to make sure I don’t purchase something that is in re-design mode……
Or, any other suggestions?……..thanks….. -

No one knows but Panasonic but the DVX100B is about as perfect as it gets in standard definition 24p. I wouldn’t expect any further refinements to this camera line nor would it make much difference.
