    Hi everyone,

I try to figure out how you can achive something like this:

    https://www.s-farm.de/?#works/creation=1_0240_mdr

Might this be the correct way:

Arrange ALL my objects in a very big 3D-World and animate everything afterwards by flying around with the camera? Or do you animate the objects in the most parts and don’t use camera animation so much?

Any hints or ideas are more than welcome…

    Thanks so much!

Sorry, I couldn’t get anything to play on that page, so I’m guessing.

In general, I believe that people arrange objects in a big 3D comp, then move the camera around to find things. A complex thing may be a sub-comp, or precomposition. Then if there’s a cut, we’re looking at a new comp, new camera.

To make the motion that is like the one on the website you directed us to… you answered your own question. A big 3d world… lay it out and then animate your camera. It’s always good to rough storyboard a project that is that in-depth so you can plan ahead. Just have a real firm grasp of animating a camera in 3d space. There are a ton of great tutorials on this site.
One tip… good lighting can really bring this type of world to life.

    Good luck.
