    Hi.

    after an intense of going “what the #@$@” to my simple camera movement, I figured out what the problem was. I was wondering if anyone had a way of fixing this…

    problem was::

    a simple pan of the camera across a pictures. (3d layer.) I wanted a fast pan across the picture. (really fast) then all of a sudden, the camera goes to slow mo and pans very very slowly.

    Now i did a simple keyframe and it worked fine. But the problem was that right when it gets to gets to the end of the animation. it “bounces” foward in time then back to the position it was suppose to be at.

    Solution::

    I didn’t notice because the pen line was straight.. when you do this simple animation, it automatically CURVES the path. thats was why it bounced. because it curvers foward then back to the position.

    Now heres my question. how do you make the paths go in straight lines. no curves or anything. What i did was I has to drag the control handles back to the point. (but thats annoying)

    I am sure this is a stupid question, but It was really frustrating why it was happening.

    Also, anyone know where a good tutorial on animating camera movements are? I have some other “bizarre” happenings when I animate the camera.

    thanks for the help

    okay.. i just figured it out. right click on the keyframe and goto “keyframe interpolation” and set to “linear” not “auto bezier curve”

    I’m stupid. hopefully someone found this useful. ha 🙂

    I knew it would be something simple… Stupid ‘auto bezier curve’!

    Well done dude, you’ve just helped somebody nearly six years down the line with exactly the same problem on CS5 😉 I was getting a bit “what the #@$@” myself 😉

    Cheers
