Heya! I found a video tutorial on YouTube that can help you learn better on how to use the camera hexagon feature for your project in Adobe After Effects! Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioF0GIi8ryg

    Hopefully it helps 🙂

    Hi Hector,

Thanks for the reply, but that video just covers the very basics of camera setup and views.

I need the camera to follow the hexagon like it’s on a race track. I’m not sure if anybody can point me toward how that is going to work.

    Cheers.

the only way i can think is to make the 3D shape, a beizer path, and copy it, then make a 3D null and paste onto the position. This will give you the null going around the shape, but not where you want it. So then make another null and make that the first nulls parent. Use second null to rotate 90 degrees and move into place (difficult, maybe make a copy of original shape and parent that too, then delete.) Then parent camera to first null, holding shift, to zero it out. Then you have to animate cam rotations on the corners. Hopefully that made some sense!
