Camcorder – Final Cut Pro – compatible
I am planning to purchase a Panasonic HDC-DX1 – 3CCD High-definition DVD Camcorder. Please advice how to transfer the video from the camcorder to my Final Cut Pro Studio?
Is this camcorder suitable for Final Cut Pro, if not can you recommend a suitable camcorder.

I think the easiest way at present is to buy the Blackmagic Intensity card and come in throught the HDMI out of the camera. FCP does not yet handle AVCHD throught an import dialogue box. Sony HDV cameras are a possibility with firewire.
